Policies

All guests entering the fairgrounds will be subject to inspection by walk-through metal detector. All bags will be inspected. Any bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6" will not be allowed into the fairgrounds. Weapons (Concealed Carry or Open Carried) are not allowed on the fairgrounds even if you are a Concealed Weapons Permit holder. In addition, weapons of any type, to include but not limited to chains, spikes, pocket knives, or any other item that may be deemed by Arkansas State Fair as a safety or security issue, are not permitted.

After 6:00 pm, everyone under the age of 18 is required to be accompanied by an adult (21 and older) to enter the fairgrounds.
We may ask for ID as proof of age. Anyone under 18 without ID who is not accompanied by an adult will not be admitted after 6:00 pm.
Arkansas State Fair staff and security reserves the right to request a valid photo ID with proof of age from any adult chaperoning minors.
Arkansas State Fair staff reserves the right to remove any unaccompanied youth under the age of eighteen (18) years from the Arkansas State Fairgrounds after 6:00 pm.
Credentialed youth Fair exhibitors are eligible to be exempt from this admission policy when wearing a designated wristband.

Smile! Photo, video and audio may be taken for promotional purposes. By entering the Arkansas State Fairgrounds, you consent, waive all rights to royalties, and release the Arkansas State Fair of any liability. You agree to your likeness used, published or reproduced in any and all media which can be used, now or in the future, for any purpose by or in connection with the Arkansas State Fair, its sponsors, organizers, and providers. Anyone wearing clothing or jewelry or other personal items that fair management deems offensive or gang-related will not be allowed on the fairgrounds. Exceptions and challenges will be answered at the discretion of fair management.

• No re-sale or public promotion of Arkansas State Fair tickets.
• All companies, organizations, and individuals are welcome to purchase tickets or ride wristbands.
• Only authorized firms are able to use fair tickets for sale or promotion to the public.
• Consignment or other purchase of tickets are available on the premise that they will be used by the individuals purchasing them, or for employees or immediate family members of companies and organizations purchasing them.
• If we find a violation with our ticket sales policy, we reserve the right to void all tickets purchased.
• All tickets, wristbands, and coupons become void after the last day of the fair.

Mandatory requirements of coverage on for golf cart are $100,000.00. Bodily Injury to one or more persons and with $100,000.00 Property Damage.
Each driver must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and have a valid driver's license
Only those carts authorized by the State Fair will be allowed to operate on State Fair property.
All golf carts and operators must be registered with the Arkansas State Fair. Permits will be displayed in a highly visible area.
The Arkansas State Fair reserves the right to restrict golf carts that have been accessorized, altered, or modified from a standard golf cart design.
Arkansas Motor Vehicle Laws apply to all operators of golf carts.
No unauthorized signage or advertising on golf carts is allowed.
All golf carts are restricted to designated golf cart areas.
No more than the allotted number of people can ride on a golf cart than the available seating.
All golf carts are required to always yield to pedestrians.
No golf carts shall be operated without a lighted headlight from ½ hour after sunset to ½ hour before sunrise.
Operation of a golf cart while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited by state law. No person shall possess or consume alcohol or drugs while operating a golf cart on State Fair property.
Careless driving or behavior that endangers or would likely to endanger any person or property will not be tolerated.
Failure to abide by these rules will result in the operator’s permit being revoked and possible removal from the premises.
